ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has submitted a privilege motion in the National Assembly over issue of new provinces, Geo News reported.
In the motion submitted by PML-N MNAs, it is contended that the commission formed on new provinces is controversial as representation of Nawaz-league was less besides the opposition leader in the national assembly was also not consulted.
It also said that only members of South Punjab were given representation in the commission. Nobody from other parts was included in the commission, it added.
A person with a government post was made the head of the commission, it said and added that the report of the commission was against the resolution of the Punjab Assembly.
