Salim seeks referendum on renaming of NWFP ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded group), announcing its support for the ongoing protest in Hazara Division against the renaming of NWFP as Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa, has called for conducting a referendum on the issue.

At a news briefing in Islamabad, PML-LM leader Salim Saifullah Khan said a resolution has been submitted in the parliament on renaming of NWFP.

“We condemn the non-representation of women and minorities in the constitutional reforms committee,” he said.

To a question about the meeting of his party leaders with former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf in Dubai, he said that there was no harm in such meetings. However, he denied that they were joining the Musharraf’s Muslim league.
