ANP govt has completely failed

ISLAMABAD: President PML Senator Salim Saifullah Khan on return to his home land from abroad talking to the media strongly condemned the recent suicide and bomb blasts in NWFP and Lower Dir and demanded urgent resignation of ANP government.

In a statement, he said that the ANP govt has completely failed to provide protection and security to the people of its province. He urged upon the government to promptly carry out high level of inquiry and submit its report with in one week. Lala Nisar Khan Ex-Federal Minister, Secretary Information PML Kashmala Tariq MNA, Ayub Khattak, Iqbal Dar, Ajab Gul Surani and Atif Muhyuddin were also present on the occasion.
Saifullah said that our party has reservations on the decisions taken by the provincial government like that of renaming of NWFP province as it was mostly non-democratic and was forcefully implementing its non democratic decision on the people of its province. He threatened that policy of the provincial government would have negative impacts on the next generation and the responsibility would be on it as the renaming of NWFP as Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa has demolished the status of Hazara who’s people were protesting against the recent renaming decision of NWFP.
He showed disappointment over the every day bomb blasts and suicide attacks where thousand of innocent people lost their lives and NWFP provincial capital Peshawar has become hub of suicide attacks and bomb blasts.
He said that it is extremely unfortunate that if the ANP government had not stopped suicide attacks and bomb blasts in provincial capital where it has all resources, how it would protect the far areas of the province from the said menace.
He further state that the renaming of NWFP as Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa was a deliberate attempt to divert the opinion of the people from the real issue of deteriorating law and order situation, price-hiking and unemployment. He urged upon the provincial leadership to show proof of patriotism and avoid politics of conflict and to bring all parties united for the interests of province and resolve all out standing issues particularly the menace of terrorism
Kashmala Traiq on the occasion said that the ruling government had nothing to do with the interest of the common people and they were indulged in non-issues.
She said that the real issues of the province were suicide attacks and bomb blasts, deteriorating law and order situation, unemployment, price-hiking, and the government should focus on the real issues rather than the non-issues. She said that her party strongly condemned such suicide attacks and bomb blasts and urged that the innocent people died in the recent suicide bomb blast should be compensated and the wounded should be provided urgent treatment.
